So in the period of one month, I’ve managed to cover 47 video game entries in total. It’s a decent result, though not really satisfying in the slightest. I’ve been having some issues, both with making some of the games work and completing them. Apart form that, I’ve been having a hard time dealing with some problems that my PC machine has been experiencing of lately. It’s nothing too grand, but I would probably focus on acquiring a better toaster this summer. I’ve also had some health issues myself, but again, they are nothing to be quacking all about.
While the marathon lasted, I also started working on a game. An actual game, that I am thinking about potentially selling, once it’s done being developed. The reason for me to do that is because I had an idea and an opportunity, which were further supported by a certain people who are willing to give me a hand in the project. Teamwork is great, even if sometimes the quality is not as clean as a bride’s dress in a ketchup factory.
So for a time being, I will post updates on twitter regarding the game development. In addition, I would like to finish the marathon, even though the initial results are already in. I’ll probably combine both of these and try to be done by the time my birthday comes, as I have special plans for that day and onward.
I still postponed some planned posts for the site, but surprises are meant to be surprising. Have you changed your socks recently? You should do that!
Let’s spice things up a little! For the next month, I am planning to do a total of 101 new entries for the “Gran _-‘D” volume! I wish to cover various popular titles, series and alternative versions of games that I’ve already beaten. I will post daily updates on twitter, saying a thing or two regarding the entries I complete for the day! Meanwhile, I will also keep posting every now and then here, as I have prepared the material for the remaining few entries ’till the 400th mark! Once I’m done with this silly monthly experiment and I hit my 500th milestone, I’ll take a break for a while and focus on something I’ve been holding off for quite a while!
I have picked games of interest from various consoles, mainly the Game Boy. I am not entirely sure regarding their overall difficulty, but I think it’s balanced enough for me to be able to pull this off. After all, most of them are platformers and I eat those for breakfast!
If you wish to observe my progress and chit- chat, you are more than a welcome to join me on Discord. Why not stream it? I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of streaming in general. I know that most people enjoy sitting on their asses and stare into the oblivion of boredom for hours, but I am a man who values original and quality content. If you haven’t figured that out by my posts in this blog and thought otherwise, I pity you, oh, rotten salmon of the moon lake on Neptune!

Mainly, I decided to register just to have fun. Then I thought that I might use the opportunity to further update the JunkBox and solidify and enhance the value of various entries in the vault. As a rule, I would do only games that I have cleared for LR19 first! I do not plan to use “RetroAchievements” as my main method for super-clearing games, but rather, as a way to add more entries to the JunkBox.
Honestly, it sounds like a good way to work on entries, but some achievements are way out of the way regarding actual super-clear, to the point of being stupid and really silly!

So close to the 300th entry, look at that! To think that this whole place started out as a mere joke, it’s now slowly evolving into what I can consider a valuable personal memento. For around two years I’ve went through quite a lot, both in my personal life and as a LR19 contributor. Did you know that originally I was planning to do this sorta’ thin’ Lab19’n with a few other people? Maybe that would have happen, if I wasn’t a complete asshole to people, especially to those who are close to me.
“Super- clearing” is never easy. I always get frustrated when I have to take into consideration ports and various releases, difficulty scale and of course, trying to not miss on content, which is always a possibility. While I did said that I am not planning on adding new volumes for the vault, you can see that a few more popped up’ recently. One of them serves as a border, a mark for the 300th and 301st title. Once I’m done with it, I will focus on the other two, which are going to be quite huge in size. One of them will serve as my take- on various games, from all kind, consoles or PC, you name it! My objective with the volume will be to mainly clear popular and exclusive titles, along with making solid pick ups regarding all those games with billion different ports and whatnot. The volume will serve as a home for the 1000th and 1001st titles that I clear.
Have I mentioned how much do I love the NES? I guess one can see so by all the titles that I’ve cleared… However, I am not all that satisfied with the results! I want more! I want to clear over 1001 NES titles in total! FDS, Famicom, bootleg crap, give ’em all! The additional new volume will be dedicated to that goal. It will be a home for the overall the 1000th and 1001st [NES] titles!
Until those goals are accomplished, I should restrict myself from doing more update posts, unless something REALLY IMPORTANT happens.
Cheers! A long, long journey awaits!
