Hello. I am back to regular format posting. I have been thinking about it for a while, and, considering my current circumstances, the planned expansion is a bit too much for a couple of reason.
First and most important one, I am currently employed and as of recent my job has reached quite the high profile. It’s in my best interest to keep myself intact and ready during working days, despite them being not as numerous per month. While I can afford to play video games in the morning, before I go to sleep in the afternoon for my night shift, playing right before I go to work tends to make me pretty tired during my work hours.
Second, making just regular posts of 20+ entries takes around a few hours. The current one that is like, triple the size of that, took me 4 hours and still counting. And that’s not even half of the planned expansion that was hundreds of entries, all at once, which would maybe take me a full day to make maybe. The thing is, doing this for an hour or two is fine, but any prolonged involvement kind of sucks.
Third, I am already making 1, 2 at most, monthly posts only. Reducing this to just status updates for say, one actual post an year feels kind of awful. I like to have posts with colorful screenshots and games every month showcased. If not for the trivial enjoyment of the screenshots themselves, at least I hope that maybe people can use this as a suggestion to try out some pretty good (and bad) video games.
I don’t feel bad for making a bad decision, I mean, I have been making these all my life. Live and learn, do what you feel is the best, optimal and most comfortable in regards to your capabilities.
